yeah, silicon valley daddy, they are. 'course, they are almost 2 so you would think since they have been walking and running for about a year now, that would be par for the course.

"so, let me ask you a question (as he looks at the peace sign on my shirt). if peace is this (does the sign with fingers) why does the peace sign look like this? (tries to make the peace symbol out of his fingers).

meanwhile, grandma is standing behind him shaking her head. my answer was a standard 'i don't know' since i DON'T nor do i care.

"so, tell me your 5 favorite movies!"

first off, i don't want to have some lengthy convo about movies with you, svd. you came home early, the girls are all napping and this is my DOWN time. why does every convo with you have to be some detailed exchange? plus, any movie i mention you are going to shoot down somehow, so why even bother?

there are also the lame responses to when i come to work in the morning. i walk in and usually greet the girls (whichever one comes to see me first with "hello gorgeous!" to which svd always responds "i told you that i'd prefer if you don't call me gorgeous!". it gets old.

there is also the question he asks every single day and every friday: "so, what are you going to do tonight/this weekend? party like a rockstar?" and my answer is always "i'm exhausted when i leave here, so i just dream of going to sleep".
